There is more in the book re the sport internationally as opposed to US/MLS. Also, it covers very little on women's playing. Overall, a solid b|About the Author|David Goldblatt is an highly experienced sports writer, broadcaster, and journalist. He is the author of The Ball is Round: A Global History of Football (Penguin, 2006), the definitive historical account of the world's game.
